HEIDI MAYER

WRITER

Heidi Mayer enjoys writing stories that make kids laugh and, hopefully, think critically about the world. As a mother of teenagers the stories she tells began when they were birthed to the eager ears of her daughters, who begged for adventures to distract them, when no books were at their disposal.

By day, Heidi teaches children mostly shorter than herself and thrives on knowing she's fostered a few life long readers. She knows that reading is the gateway to a wondrous world of heros and works hard to pass on the joy of writing.

Whimsy and nonsense are her guides on a roadmap that only disappears once her mischief has been managed.
